Module Outcomes
Identify and analyse security threats and vulnerabilities in network systems and determine appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques to manage and/or solve them.
Design and critically appraise computer programs and systems to produce solutions that help manage and audit risk and security issues.
Gather and synthesise information from multiple sources (including internet security alerts and warning sites) to aid in the systematic analysis of security breaches and issues.
Articulate the legal, social, ethical and professional issues faced by information security and risk professionals.

This is a high collaborative module that had two collaborative discussions and several wiki activities to keep us engaged with one another as we discuss network security and its challenges.
What I have learnt
The module, Network Security, is a very important module. It took me through the journey from the begining of computer network through to future trends in the field. I have learnt that to have a secure network, you need to follow all the recommended best practices, have good technical skills as well as regulary update your network and systems
